Just a week back, L’Oréal dropped-off something my hair was longing for a long time in my mail: phials of nourishment and moisturising. I wouldn’t expect you to relate to my woes until you yourself would be suffering from the same hair condition like mine: Dry hair.
No matter how many bottles of coconut oil you’d apply, it would all come back to square one the minute your second wash without oiling your hair first would take place. If your story sounds even a little like mine, keep reading.
Keeping in mind how I’ve been blessed with good hair naturally, i would like to emphasise on how important keeping your hair well is for all those people who don’t have thick hair, in order to attain healthy locks as well as feel confident and look youthful. You might not be able to change your DNA, but you sure can take care of your locks in order to sustain them and to let them remain healthy inside out, and for that a good hair product is more than necessary.
Starting off by telling you all about how i never experiment with my shampoo’s and stick to one if its suits my hair (as my hair mean everything to me) , but the claim 6 oil nourish had me have second thoughts on this decision of mine, hence i gave it a try.
L’Oréal claim to this 6 micro-oil haircare range consists of a blend of Argan, Jojoba, Camelina, coconut, Olive and almond oil a.k.a the perfect blend of hair nourishers in one bottle, almost like gene’s magical potion (with no side effects hopefully!)
So, appearances first; It comes in a golden-ish/yellow packaging and contains an egg yolk coloured glittery shampoo that has an almost dusky, perfume scent and lathers quite well while staying on the milder side (Not drying out your hair too much like regular shampoo’s).
The conditioner on the other hand is more like a hair mask in texture :pretty thick. A dollop covered my hair just perfectly but i definitely felt that it lacked the moisture my regular conditioner contains. It didn’t soften out my hair the way other conditioners do, but i guess ill give it some more tries to judge fully.
The Oil replacement cream, what i would call ‘food for my hair’ gave my hair an incredible feel, giving just the perfect example of how science has taken over old traditions well. This product is my holy grail as it contains the power of 6 magical oils, each containing their own benefits in one bottle, whereas saves the hassle of oiling by giving you just the same results within a tube. I opt to use it an hour before the wash and it leaves my hair, shinier, silky and oh-so-soft. (almost like a protein treatment, personalised within your home).
Would definitely recommend this to all people suffering from dry and brittle hair, as this formula definitely moisturises in the right amount of no greasiness, just nourishing. Wouldn’t recommend to people with oily hair type as this isn’t their side of the ordeal.
