The grand Palais and its spectators have seen it all: from customised Chanel grocery stores, to airports, walks down the jungle with its personal waterfall and now the beach, this place has been transformed into every possible spectacle.
This time Karl Lagerfeld took it into his hands to transform Paris quite literally by installing a champagne coloured sandy beach, with the constant ebb and flow of the swelling ocean to keep everyone company and a driftwood plank staircase leading to a lifeguard sitting at bay.
Walking down the champagne sand barefooted, the cool water brushing their feet walked models adorning just the right pastel pop from top to toe, transparent vinyl slides dangling from towelling beach bags showing their A game in black cycling shorts paired with tweed fuchsia jackets.
But what caught our eye amongst all the outfits was the return of lace as the beauties adorned high waisted powder blue pants and long shirts gloriously singing the Pakistani tradition. The neat cut jumpsuits, slit open pants in crisp whites and long tweed skirts were a treat to our eyes!
Amongst the entire show, the show-stopper were yet again the accessories that karl always manages to excel in! Creativity surely has no barriers with this one!
